Firehouse Grille & Pub

The Firehouse Grille & Pub was a local establishment until approximately 2014 when they shut their doors. Their menu needed a bit of refreshing and as I had been tasked with generating a menu design along with some other collateral, they seemed the perfect candidate for my work.
I set out to remove the young child like menu design, replacing their dalmatian logo with a more modern and clean grill fire icon. I utilized strong typography paired with minimalistic flame imagery to nail the feel of the establishment down. Having spent a week pairing down the menu from its hundreds of items, removing duplicates and typos, I finalized my content and laid it out in InDesign.
Other items included are a ‘pub grub’ menu for the bar. And a coupon template with QR code for their repeat customers.
